Project Overview
This contemporary kitchen project in Glasgow showcases the perfect blend of German craftsmanship and modern design. The homeowners wanted a kitchen that would feel bright, spacious and welcoming while offering the functionality needed for everyday family life.
Using premium Nobilia cabinetry in a rich navy finish, paired with crisp white worktops and warm brass accents, we created a kitchen that feels both sophisticated and practical. The open-plan layout, feature lighting and exposed brickwork give the space real character, while large windows and glazed doors flood the room with natural light.
The finished kitchen is a stylish, functional space that’s equally suited to cooking, entertaining and relaxing with family.
Client Brief
The client wanted a contemporary kitchen that combined bold design with practical everyday living. Their priorities included increasing storage, improving the flow of the room and creating a space that would become the focal point of the home.
They were particularly keen to introduce premium finishes, integrated appliances and a colour palette that would remain timeless while complementing the property’s original features.
Design Challenges
The long, open layout required careful planning to ensure every area was functional without feeling overcrowded. Storage needed to be maximised while maintaining clear work surfaces and uninterrupted sightlines across the room.
By incorporating tall cabinetry, a multifunctional peninsula and generous worktop space, we created clearly defined preparation, cooking and entertaining zones. The existing brickwork was retained as a feature, adding warmth and texture to the contemporary design.
